I haven’t posted here in a while, since I’ve been putting the finishing touches on the production of my new CD, Java Street Bagatelles.

I finally finished it - two years in the making - and have released it this month on my own Workbench label.  It is a solo guitar album (steel string acoustic and electric) of as-yet undetermined category: some say improv (20 of 24 tracks were improvised), some say weird folk, some say americana, and some say experimental acoustic. I’m too close to the music to hang a tag on it, so that’s the best I can describe it!  In any case, it can speak for itself. At my site, www.jamesbeaudreau.com, there’s info, artwork, and three 192kbps mp3s for download.

The CD (not CDR) is being released in an edition of 500, in numbered, custom-made, mini-LP packaging.

So please do stop by and have a listen, and see you back here at OMD addressing the usual subjects soon!
